Not much going on here at the moment –
I felt pretty rough all last week and then I had an emergency operation to remove a tennis ball size abscess from my backside on Friday leaving one more whole than anyone would care for in that region – quite literally a pain in the arse.
The result of this is that I am off work indefinitely as the wound has to be kept open for the time being and I will need to have an assessment for further surgery in a few weeks time. I have to walk at a pensioners pace to the doctors surgery to have my wound packed and dressed which is a pretty miserable experience.
I’m feeling pretty sick due to the drugs and have an obvious problem with sitting down which for the time being will make life tricky.
There probably won’t be too many posts here for a while as I can’t easily sit at my desk!
Ben

Seriously thinking of you

roy, thanks for asking.
the arse is recovering slowly. I am now thankfully back at work but will continue to have packing and dressings daily for 2-3 more weeks which is ........ a pain in the arse!
anyway there should be more blog life here now.
cheers ben
